On-site exterior inspections by assessor

Town of Byron is conducting a revaluation of property this year. The revaluation of property will require on-site exterior inspections by the assessor during that time. Please also notice that the assessor has certain statutory authority to enter land as described in sections 943.13 and 943.15, Wisconsin Statutes. The Town’s assessor Justin Schumacher (Borree Appraisal Services) will begin these throughout the town starting next week 3/30/26. Tel: 920-766-9166.

Early In-Person Absentee Voting

There will be Early In-Person Absentee voting at the Town of Byron Town Hall

Thursday April 2nd  2026 – 11:00 am-2:00 pm 

Saturday April 4th 9:00am – 1:00 pm.

Must Have photo ID present to vote.

Actual Spring Election is April 7, 2026 from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm at the Town of Byron Town Hall.

Reminder: Dog Licenses due April 1st 2025

Wisconsin requires All Dogs in the Town of Byron To Be Licensed

Dog Licenses are a requirement by State Statute Chapter 174 Dogs, specifically 174.05 Dog License Tax requires the owner of a dog more than 5 months of age on January 1 of any year, or 5 months of age within the license year to annually pay the dog license tax and obtain a license.

Neutered male / spayed female dog $3.00

Unneutered male / unspayed female dog $8.00

Kennel Licenses:  permit fees 12 or fewer dogs:  $35.00 – any additional dogs over 12:  $3.00 each
