The featured speaker scheduled for the July 15, 2024, meeting of the Byron Historical Society is Eleanor Rhodes, a Lomira High School student, who will be presenting her award-winning speech entitled “Contradictions Within the U.S. Constitution.” Rhodes was named second runner-up in the 2024 Wisconsin’s American Legion Oratorical contest for her address. She was sponsored by Lomira’s American Legion Post No. 347 and is pictured here with Post No. 347 member, Tom Kelroy.
